AI Context Injector v2.0

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

✅ Short version

We collect nothing. All your snippets stay on your device. No servers, no accounts, no tracking — ever.

What we store

AI Context Injector stores your snippets, folders, settings, and usage counts exclusively in Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device. This data never leaves your browser.

What we do NOT collect

Permissions explained

storage
To save your snippets locally on your own device using Chrome's storage API. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
activeTab
To detect which AI platform you currently have open (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) so the extension can show "Claude detected" and enable the Inject button.
scripting
To inject your saved context text directly into the AI chat input field when you click Inject. The text comes from your local storage — nothing external.
contextMenus
To add the right-click "⚡ Inject AI Context" menu when you right-click inside an AI chat input box.

Third parties

This extension does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers. There are no external API calls of any kind.

Data security

Because all data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API, your snippets are protected by Chrome's own sandboxing and security model. No one — including the developer — can access your snippets.

Children's privacy

This extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. No data collection occurs.
